Principal’s Welcome Note
It gives me great pleasure to welcome everyone to this new exciting year. At Dawhat Al Jazeera, we pride ourselves on remaining true to our mission statement of being a school with a ‘Distinguished Education for a Competitive Generation for Whom Nothing Is Impossible”, and we have continued to do so in these unprecedented times. During the change into virtual learning, we experienced several positive outcomes that stabilized the uncertainty of the “New Normal”:
- A successful virtual learning experience which we are still investing in as we continue to promote individuality,
and independent learning even after the return to school.
- Our inspirational staff have kept a steady pace of delivering a balanced curriculum that equips students with skills
they need to be successful in a rapidly changing world.
- Our students have demonstrated resilience and maturity; they have grown to better understand the world around
them and not take matters for granted.
They have kept a realistic disposition and managed to adjust in a constructive and creative way. We consider safety a priority and a driving force to follow, health, wellness and safety guidelines. We are prepared to open our doors once we get the go-ahead from the authorities and will ensure civic responsibility to adhere to guideline so we can safely reconnect and restore our strong community. Our program will be filled with safe active engagement of curricular and noncurricular activities. We look forward to a year of fun and excitement, and to better times. Finally, it was with a heavy heart that we said farewell to two graduating classes during the pandemic without the send-off they deserved. We hope to hear about their success and achievements as they are still part of the community of Dawhat Al Jazeera at large.
