Breast Cancer Awareness

In conjunction with the International Month for Breast Cancer Awareness (Pink October 2024), the schools of Dawhat AlJazeera have set in motion the Breast Cancer Awareness Program with the aim of empowering girls to stay healthy. The Science Department, in cooperation with the Health Committee, organized several awareness programs that included lectures, research and exhibitions. Coordination was made with the Ministry of Health, where Dr. Nada Srouji was the host. The program focused on the importance of early detection. The awareness pillars also concentrated on the definition of breast cancer, its symptoms and ways to prevent it, and methods of breast self-examination, in addition to addressing other preventive health issues. We ask Allah to grant us all forgiveness, wellness and lasting well-being in this world and the hereafter.
